Ingredients
¼ cup Olive Oil
6 to 8 pieces of Chicken (with bones)
1 Large yellow onion (ringed, thin)
2 cloves of fresh Garlic, minced
1 28 oz Canned diced (or crushed) tomatoes
15 oz Tomato sauce
½ tsp Celery salt
1 tsp Oregano
2 Bay leaves
1 tsp Salt
¼ tsp Black Pepper
¼ cup of Sauterne wine (sweet, white cooking wine)
Instructions
Brown chicken (both sides) in olive oil
Remove chicken from pan
Add onion and garlic, cook til onion is clear
Put chicken back into the pan
Add other ingredients
Simmer for 45 minutes
Add Sauterne wine, simmer for 5 or 10 minutes
